During conversations, to avoid being rude & cutting someone off, wait THREE SECONDS after they stop talking before you talk. They may just be stopping to BREATHE before finishing their statements. Don't be a Me Monster & POUNCE as soon there's a split-second of silence. Plus, avoid saying, "Uh" or "Um" every third word, or between sentences. I think both of those go together; the person talking says, "Uh" to fill dead space since they're not done talking, otherwise the other person will POUNCE & take over!
That's just my little Speech Etiquette PSA for this evening!
