Our industry has traditionally been word-of-mouth in your local 'warm market,' your family & friends. With technology advancing all of the time, instead of being able to reach 10-100 people, we can reach 100's & 1,000's... ONLINE! A lot of these people we know personally, most we do not, BUT since we have an 'online relationship/friendship' with them, we trust one another & respect each others' referrals.
The younger generation only knows this 'way.' That's how they have grown up! They would MUCH rather be able to do business ANYWHERE they want, NOT being 'tied down' in a cubical or similar like their parents constantly complain about.
